ICHTHYS THEATRE PRODUCTIONS is a Brantford based community theatre that is in its 11th year, having performed over 24 productions for both the community and schools. We are dedicated to offering educational opportunities to audiences, cast and crew members, and are unique for our “Surround Theatre Productions” where the interaction between the audience, actors and the action is key.

We hope this advance notice will assist you in your planning, and that you will include some ICHTHYS theatre in your summer of 2012 schedule as one of your more entertaining and learning activities.

Annual Meeeting of Ichthys Theatre Productions-Glenhyrst Gardens Cottage

April 21st 2012-10:00am

Our Annual Meeting will be held at Glenhyrst Gardens Cottage, April 21st, 2012, beginning at 10.00am. An overview of the past year and plans for the coming year(s) will be presented along with a number of other interesting topics. All members of Ichthys Theatre Productions are encouraged to attend. This is also an excellent time for anyone interested in the many areas within the inner workings of theatre, including behind the scenes, administration, and under the lights.

Glenhyrst Family Arts Day Glenhyrst Gardens May 27th 2012-11:00am to 4:00pm

Glenhyrst Family Arts Day will be held this year on May 27th, from 11:00am to 4:00pm and as in other years Ichthys will be participating along with a number of other Arts Groups. This year we plan to have a number of our members offer Monologues, for the entertainment aspect of the day.

Ichthys Theatre Productions and Friendship House Aug 11th/2012

A number of years ago an alliance was formed between these two entities in hopes of raising funds through Theatre and Food, as another method of helping both organizations deliver their programs.

A group of performances and venues have been utilized. This year we have decided to use Friendship House, which is just behind St. Joseph Hospital, corner of Wayne Gretzky Blvd. and Gray Street.

On August 11th, 2012, in the early evening we have chosen to offer you 'THE SWEETEST SHOW IN TOWN', with an unforgettable variety of desserts to nibble on while we entertain you. Our performance is called " Why Do We Laugh ", and will feature members of Ichthys Theatre Productions. Plan to attend and find out what Friendship House does for your community, consume some tasty desserts, and let us entertain you!
